Job Purpose The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment and machinery within the plant. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maintain safe and efficient operations.<br>Key Responsibilities Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and breakdowns and ensure timely resolution. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and mechanical equipment to identify potential issues. Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime. Maintain and repair mechanical systems including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Analyze recurring breakdowns and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with Production and other departments to ensure maintenance activities are completed with minimum impact on production. Follow up on maintenance work orders and ensure timely completion. Support the Maintenance Manager in developing and improving preventive maintenance plans. Ensure availability and proper use of mechanical spare parts and maintenance tools. Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:Production Supervision: Oversee daily factory floor operations, manage and direct labor, and ensure production schedules and targets are met efficiently. CAD/CAM Management: Review technical shop drawings, execute designs using Auto CAD, and convert them into precise CNC-ready execution files. CNC Operation Oversight: Supervise the operation of CNC machinery to ensure precision cutting, routing, and high-quality execution of wooden parts.
