Active participation in annual sizing exercises in collaboration with sales, marketing, SFE, transformation head to leverage transformation journey based on global/ local directions. Analyze portfolio pricing, GM% improvement initiatives & commercial schemes. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing/Business Management is a strong asset.</p><p>Professional Experience Minimum 7 10 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in Marketing, Brand Management, or Business Unit Management. Prior experience managing external partnerships/outsourcing portfolios (licensing, co-marketing, or distribution agreements) is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in P&L ownership and driving business results in an international or emerging market (experience in Sudan or similar African/Middle East markets is a plus). Solid background in portfolio lifecycle management (LCM), pricing strategy, and brand pruning/divestment initiatives. Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, Finance, Supply Chain, Transformation, and SFE teams.</p><p>Technical & Functional Skills Strong command of market data analytics tools (e.g., IQVIA) for market sizing, trend analysis, and opportunity identification. Org. Setting and Reporting<br>This position is located in the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Cairo, within the Information Centres Service (ICS), Outreach Division (OD), Department of Global Communications (DGC). The UNIC Cairo is part of the global network of United Nations information centres, which is the principal source of information about the United Nations system in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. We need staff who are transparent, exceptional in how they manage the resources entrusted to them, and who commit to delivering excellence in programme results</p><br><p><strong>You would be responsible for:</strong></p><br><p><span><strong>Operational Support</strong></span></p><br><ul> <li><span>Manage day-to-day WGSS operations, providing administrative and operational support to field teams to ensure effective implementation in line with Annual Work Plan priorities, while monitoring compliance with UNFPA programming standards to support quality service delivery throughout the project cycle.</span></li> <li><span>Provide administrative support for the Ministry of Youth and Sports including timely submission of monthly allowances, field visit clearance requests, and managing daily operational communications and announcements to the field team. </span></li> <li><span>Support the development of transition planning for WGSS operations by identifying potential partnership with community-based organizations, and analyzing service provision challenges and opportunities. </span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Monitoring and Reporting </strong></span></p><br><ul> <li><span>Manage overall monitoring and reporting cycle, including collecting, compiling, and validating data from WGSS activities, ensuring timely submission of reports (including but not limited to Quarterly Progress Report and Monthly Refugee Response Plan Report). </span></li> <li><span>Track implementation progress against an Annual Work Plan and coordinate across teams to ensure activities are aligned with program objectives and timelines. </span></li> <li><span>Strengthen data collection and reporting processes within WGSS, ensuring strict compliance with SOPs and ethical data management standards such as GBV Information Management System (GBVIMS). </span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Project Quality Assurance </strong></span></p><br><ul> <li><span>Ensure all WGSS activities and services strictly adhere to UNFPA programming standards, global gender-based violence (GBV) guiding principles (GBViE minimum standards, GBVIMS, inter-agency GBV Case Management guidelines, among others), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and survivor-centered service delivery. </span></li> <li><span>Implement quality checklists, field monitoring tools, and beneficiary complaint and feedback mechanisms to systematically assess service delivery and promptly address operational gaps or technical challenges. </span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with UNFPA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to address operational bottlenecks and support the execution of corrective measures at the field level.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Team Management </strong></span></p><br><ul> <li><span>Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and operational support to the WGSS field team, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment. </span></li> <li><span>Monitor staff performance, conduct regular team briefings, and identify capacity-building needs to enhance the team’s technical skills. </span></li> <li><span>Manage staff schedules and task allocations in close coordination with team leaders, while actively promoting wellness initiatives to mitigate burnout within high-pressure field environments. </span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Communication and Advocacy </strong></span></p><br><ul> <li><span>Support communication efforts to increase visibility of WGSS activities including success story submissions. </span></li> <li><span>Contribute to interagency meetings by collecting field-level insights in coordination with implementing partners. </span></li> <li><span>Conduct regular service mapping exercises to ensure internal and inter-agency referral systems are well functioning and effective and improve coordination between service providers. </span></li></ul><p><br><span><strong><u>Expected travel</u></strong></span></p><br><p><span>The WGSS Project Manager will be based in UNFPA Egypt Country Office, with a requirement to travel to project sites within Greater Cairo for more than 90% of the time.
