About the Role As a Sustainability Social Worker, you will maintain a strong field presence and engage directly with farmers, workers, schools, and local communities to support responsible sourcing and social sustainability initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Support child labour monitoring, prevention, and remediation activities. Raise awareness of Hello ofi and available grievance mechanisms within communities. Monitor labour compliance requirements, including age verification procedures. Conduct field visits and engage key stakeholders across farming communities. Collect household and beneficiary data to support program implementation and reporting. Identify and escalate social risks, worker welfare concerns, child labour cases, and non-compliance findings through established channels. Foster trust and collaboration with farmers, workers, schools, and community members. What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in community work, social work, worker engagement, rural development, child protection, NGO programming or field-based social sustainability work. Experience working with rural communities, agricultural workers, schools, vulnerable households, women, seasonal workers or factory/processing workers. Experience handling sensitive social issues. Ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong observation, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities. Willingness to travel extensively within Beni Suef and surrounding communities. Good understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and child protection principles. Practical field-monitoring, documentation and reporting skills & ability to collect accurate data and maintain organized records. Sufficient English for basic reporting, email communication and use of standard templates.

<h4>Packing Quality Control</h4><ul><li><p>Inspect packaging (PP bags, pallets, labels, markings) at the factory to ensure 100% compliance with each order's technical requirements (packing list, PO, customer instructions)</p></li><li><p>Cross-check actual packing specifications against the standards agreed between TLD and the factory (bag weight, bag type, thickness, pallet stacking, wrapping film, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Detect and promptly report any packing deviations before goods are loaded into containers or shipped out</p></li></ul><h4>Product Quality Inspection</h4><ul><li><p>Sample and test CaCO₃ quality parameters (whiteness, fineness, moisture, impurities, etc.) against order specifications</p></li><li><p>Cross-check factory-issued quality results with independent sampling when necessary</p></li><li><p>Maintain organized, complete quality records (COA, inspection reports) for each shipment/batch</p></li></ul><h4>On-Site Factory Monitoring</h4><ul><li><p>Maintain regular physical presence or direct contact with factories to stay informed of issues arising in production (delays, raw material shortages, equipment breakdowns, labor shortages, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Identify and report risks early that could affect product quality or delivery timelines</p></li></ul><h4>Production Progress Tracking</h4><ul><li><p>Track actual production progress for each order at each factory (percentage completed, expected completion date)</p></li><li><p>Compile and report progress regularly (daily/weekly) to the Operations team to support booking plans, vessel schedules, and customer notifications</p></li></ul><h4>Internal Coordination</h4><ul><li><p>Serve as the on-the-ground information link between the factory and Operations/Sales — provide timely input when issues arise that could affect the shipping plan</p></li><li><p>Propose improvements to packing and quality control processes when inefficiencies are identified</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><h4>Experience &amp; Expertise</h4><ul><li><p>Minimum 1–2 years of experience in QC, QA, or production control — preferably in mining, chemicals, construction materials, or bagged export goods</p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) production is a plus; training can be provided for candidates with a strong technical foundation</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with export quality documentation (COA, Certificate of Weight, packing list)</p></li></ul><h4>Skills</h4><ul><li><p>Detail-oriented, careful, and able to spot small deviations in packing specifications and product quality</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills for direct interaction with factory supervisors/workers — must be proactive and assertive when requiring corrective action from the factory</p></li><li><p>Clear, concise reporting skills (progress reports, incident reports)</p></li><li><p>Basic Excel skills for tracking and consolidating data preferred</p></li></ul><h4>Other Requirements</h4><ul><li><p>Own transportation or willingness to travel frequently to factories (in and around Cairo)</p></li><li><p>Honest and highly responsible — this role directly represents the company's interests on the production floor</p></li><li><p>Basic conversational English is a plus (documents/reports may be in English/Arabic)</p></li><li><p>Proactive, hands-on attitude, able to work independently when management is not on-site at the factory</p></li></ul><p></p>
