This role is responsible for planning and performing nondestructive tests (such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and visual inspections) on components and equipment used in power generation and energy facilities. The Nondestructive Testing Specialist also helps maintain testing equipment, adheres to strict safety protocols, and participates in continuous improvement of inspection processes.<br>Qualifications<br> Strong knowledge of nondestructive testing methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT) and ability to apply appropriate techniques based on material, component, and service conditions. Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, codes, and standards related to power generation and industrial equipment. Ability to document inspection procedures, record test data accurately, and prepare clear, concise technical reports for cross-functional teams. Familiarity with quality assurance practices, defect evaluation, and root-cause analysis to support safe and reliable plant operations. Key Responsibilities:Review design packages and prepare technical review reports. Prepare and submit RFIs as required. Prepare HVAC shop drawings and perform the required engineering calculations. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Propose and discuss technical solutions to optimize project execution. Manage technical submittals and secure consultant approvals. Prepare quantity take-offs and quantity survey reports. Prepare and update as-built drawings.<br>Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.3–6 years of experience in an HVAC Technical Office role. Proficiency in Revit is a must. To handle drafting project shop drawings, as well as coordinate drawings between different disciplines and assist site engineers clarifying and resolving any technical problem that could arise during the construction caused by designs. Roles & Responsibilities Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures. Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.). Prepare shop and coordination drawings (or composite drawing) based on project’s design drawings in accurate with quality standard. Coordinate with other trades to solve any conflict between various Engineering disciplines. Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals. Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction. Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant. Coordinate with Surveying Engineer to provide him all the information about land coordinates and any site measurement required. Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve. Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant. Prepare material submittal in conjunction with material to be and approved by the consultant. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for electrical materials, equipment, and services, from material requisition and RFQ through technical/commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, and delivery. Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, material requisitions, and project requirements to identify procurement needs and ensure accurate sourcing. Prepare and issue RFQs to approved and potential suppliers/subcontractors and follow up on quotations. Source, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers for electrical materials and equipment. Prepare and review technical and commercial bid comparisons and coordinate with the Technical Office, Site, QA/QC, and Project teams for technical evaluations and approvals. Ensure that suppliers' offers comply with project specifications, approved vendor lists, applicable standards, and client/consultant requirements. Negotiate prices, payment terms, warranties, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions to achieve the best value for the project.<br>Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.5–9 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in electrical procurement within construction, MEP, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
