Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for electrical materials, equipment, and services, from material requisition and RFQ through technical/commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, and delivery. Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, material requisitions, and project requirements to identify procurement needs and ensure accurate sourcing. Prepare and issue RFQs to approved and potential suppliers/subcontractors and follow up on quotations. Source, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers for electrical materials and equipment. Prepare and review technical and commercial bid comparisons and coordinate with the Technical Office, Site, QA/QC, and Project teams for technical evaluations and approvals. Ensure that suppliers' offers comply with project specifications, approved vendor lists, applicable standards, and client/consultant requirements. Negotiate prices, payment terms, warranties, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions to achieve the best value for the project.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.5–9 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in electrical procurement within construction, MEP, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven experience handling procurement for large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, suppliers, and market conditions. Strong ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material submittals. Experience in technical and commercial evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors.
