Roles & Responsibilities:Prepare detailed formwork and scaffolding design drawings for a variety of reinforced concrete structures in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards. Develop comprehensive engineering documentation, including design layout drawings, structural calculation sheets, assembly/shop drawings, and material take-off lists. Perform static and structural analyses to verify design adequacy, safety, and optimization of formwork systems. Incorporate material availability, constructability, and cost efficiency considerations during the design phase. Coordinate closely with the Senior Formwork Methods Engineer, incorporating technical guidance and project requirements into design solutions. Conduct site inspections as required to verify compliance with approved designs and certify executed works. Prepares and reviews piping engineering studies, design drawings, calculations and documents, and material and equipment specifications. Resolves specialty related piping engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards. Analyzes problems and determines critical factors for investigation. Participates in the development of new mechanical engineering methods. Provides expert advice on design processes or construction methods. Approves significant changes in specifications and plans, work techniques and materials. Prepares progress reports and monitoring project controls. Determines and schedules work priorities. Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in piping engineering field on large to mega projects. Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
