Welding Leading Hand<br> <br>Anglo Gold Ashanti acquired the Sukari gold mine in Egypt through the acquisition of Centamin plc in November 2024. Sukari is owned in partnership with the Egyptian Government.<br> <br>Sukari is located approximately 750km from Cairo and 25km from Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. This position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on execution, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a professional services environment.</strong><br>Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Manage end-to-end accounting processes for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SOCPA standards.</li><li>Support accounting advisory engagements, including financial restructuring and liquidation assignments.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.</li><li>Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.</li><li>Prepare high-quality reports and documentation in both Arabic and English.</li><li>Ensure timely submission of financial reports and regulatory filings.</li><li>Utilize accounting systems and ERP solutions effectively (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle).</li><li>Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.</li><li>Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.</li></ul><br>Requirements<br><strong>Education & Experience:</strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within an accounting or consulting firm.</li><li>Solid experience in financial reporting, general ledger, and advisory support.</li></ul><strong>Technical Skills:</strong><br><ul><li>Strong knowledge of IFRS and SOCPA standards.</li><li>Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.</li><li>Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).</li></ul><strong>Language Skills:</strong><br><ul><li>Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).</li></ul><strong>Core Competencies:</strong><br><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>High level of accountability and ownership.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.</li><li>Experience in accounting advisory, liquidation, or restructuring projects.</li><li>Previous experience in a Big Four firm (EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC) is a plus, but not mandatory.</li><li>Familiarity with project management tools or methodologies.</li></ul><br> </div>
