Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Construction Engineer specializing in Underground Cables (UGC) to join our project execution team in Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the site installation, trenching, cable pulling, jointing, termination, and testing of High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) underground cable systems.<br>Key Responsibilities:Oversee site execution activities for UGC projects (HV/EHV cable laying, trench excavation, backfilling, duct bank installation, and joint bays). Supervise subcontractors and field crews to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and local standards (e.g., EEHC, EETC). Coordinate cable jointing, termination, and high-voltage testing (HV testing, sheath testing, OTDR/fiber optic testing). Manage Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) with clients and consultants. Resolve technical site clashes and interface issues with civil and structural teams. Ensure strict adherence to Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations on site.<br>Key Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power Engineering.5–7 years of experience in electrical construction, with a strong focus on HV/EHV Underground Cable (UGC) projects. Proven track record in cable routing, laying execution, jointing supervision, and pre-commissioning testing. Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE) and local Egyptian utility regulations (EETC/EEHC). Strong leadership, project coordination, and site management skills.
