RAF Specialty Coffee is looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of all branch facilities and equipment. This position requires a proactive professional capable of managing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting new branch openings, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities Preventive & Corrective Maintenance • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for all branch equipment and facilities.• Ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules and monitor compliance across branches.• Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.• Identify root causes of recurring failures and implement sustainable corrective actions. Coffee Equipment Maintenance• Maintain and calibrate espresso machines, coffee grinders, brewing equipment, and specialty coffee tools.• Ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer standards and quality requirements.• Support operational teams in maintaining optimal equipment performance. Electrical, Mechanical & Facility Maintenance• Maintain electrical systems, panels, wiring, and mechanical equipment.• Oversee plumbing, water systems, pumps, motors, and facility infrastructure.• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.• Maintain air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems across branches.• Monitor refrigeration equipment to ensure food safety and product quality standards are maintained. New Branch Projects & Handover• Participate in the technical inspection and handover of new branches.• Verify compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and operational requirements.• Coordinate commissioning activities and ensure branch readiness before opening.• Prepare technical documentation, warranties, and maintenance records for newly opened locations. Vendor & Contractor Management• Manage relationships with maintenance contractors and external service providers.• Monitor service quality and compliance with agreed SLAs.• Evaluate contractor performance and recommend improvements. Health, Safety & Compliance• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.• Support branch compliance with civil defense and safety standards. Cost Control & Energy Efficiency• Monitor maintenance budgets and optimize maintenance costs.• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational expenses.• Support repair-versus-replacement decisions through technical and financial analysis. Reporting & Continuous Improvement• Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset history.• Analyze maintenance trends and equipment performance data.• Recommend process improvements and predictive maintenance initiatives to enhance operational reliability. Requirements Education• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Experience• 3–6 years of experience in maintenance engineering, facility management, or technical operations.• Experience in Retail, Hospitality, F&B, Coffee Chains, Restaurants, or Multi-Branch Operations is highly preferred.• Experience with espresso machines, coffee equipment, HVAC systems, and refrigeration is a strong advantage.
