The Technical Office Engineer will prepare, review, and update civil shop drawings and design documents in coordination with project teams and site engineers. The role includes developing and verifying Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting quantity surveying, and supporting cost estimates and project budgets. The engineer will coordinate with civil and electrical engineering disciplines to ensure design compatibility, compliance with standards, and timely approval of technical submissions. Daily responsibilities also involve responding to technical queries, maintaining project documentation, and supporting tender preparation and variation claims.<br>Qualifications<br> Civil Engineering expertise with strong knowledge of infrastructure works and construction standards. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing shop drawings for civil works, with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in BOQ preparation and quantity surveying for infrastructure and building projects. Ability to coordinate with Electrical Engineering teams to align civil and electrical designs. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Strong skills in CAD and other engineering design software, plus MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point). Solid understanding of local codes, regulations, and contract documents relevant to Egyptian infrastructure projects.
