About the Role We are looking for an IT & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for the administration, maintenance, security, and support of the company's internal IT infrastructure and systems. The role will also provide technical support for customer deployments when required, including site surveys, infrastructure assessment, network recommendations, system environment preparation, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure & System Administration - Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers and related infrastructure.- Monitor server performance, availability, storage, and system health.- Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and Active Directory services.- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems and enterprise applications.- Manage and support virtualization environments and virtual machines.- Ensure operating systems and applications are regularly patched and updated.- Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures. 2. Backup & Disaster Recovery - Implement and maintain regular backup procedures for servers, databases, applications, and critical company data.- Monitor backup jobs and investigate backup failures.- Periodically verify backup integrity and perform restoration tests.- Support the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery procedures. 3.
