Axis Dental Lab is a dental laboratory with operations in Egypt and the UAE. We are hiring a senior CAD designer to own our implant work: single units through full-arch, and implant-supported bar overdentures.<br>This is the technical end of the lab. You take the case from the scan and decide how it should be built: emergence profile, screw channel angulation, occlusion, connector strength, material choice. Complex implant cases and bars are the work we will not compromise on, so this seat is for someone who has designed a lot of them and can explain every decision.<br>A dental degree is a strong advantage here. We would rather have a dentist who designs than a designer who has never seen the case in a mouth, because most of these decisions are clinical before they are technical. It is not a hard requirement: a technician with deep implant and bar experience is equally welcome.<br>What you will do:Design implant cases end to end: custom abutments, screw-retained crowns and bridges, hybrids, full-arch restorations Design implant-supported bar overdentures, including milled titanium and Co-Cr bars Choose the restorative approach per case: cement-retained vs screw-retained, angulated screw channel, Ti-base selection Work from intraoral scans and model scans, handle scan bodies and library matching Review incoming cases and flag clinical problems before design starts: implant angulation, insufficient restorative space, missing scan bodies Prepare files for milling and printing, with correct nesting, sprues and parameters Talk directly to dentists about their cases, discuss and agree the plan before the case is built Set the standard for implant design in the lab and support the rest of the design team<br>What we are looking for:Minimum 5 years designing dental restorations in CADStrong implant portfolio: this is the core of the role, not an occasional case Real experience designing bars for implant-supported overdenturesexocad or 3Shape Dental System to an expert level, including the implant and bar modules Understands the clinical side: occlusion, emergence profile, hygiene access, restorative space Able to judge when a case cannot be built as sent and to say so early Full-time, on-site at our 6th of October lab<br>Preferred:Dental degree (BDS or equivalent) Experience with full-arch and All-on-X workflows Familiarity with more than one implant system library Model Creator, Smile Creator, or digital smile design experience Experience mentoring or reviewing other designers work<br>What we offer:No fixed salary ceiling.
