This role involves on-site management of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with technical and operational requirements.<br><br>Kay Responsabilities:<br><br>Customer site installation in operational environment. Unitary equipment installation with installation manual. Simple tasks requiring electronic and cabling skills: cabling, cable repair, material handling, stock management, and inventory.. Repair following specifications/instructions. Running verification and non-regression tests. Identify, qualify and write Fault/Problem Reports. Investigate and solve/repair Fault/Problem Reports. Write test procedures. Write and update documents and reports. Perform and update equipment cabling. Perform network equipment update (switch) with manual. Perform IT equipment update (server) w/o manual. Use a PC with Virtual Machine ; troubleshooting on Linux/Windows OS in case of issues. Wiring and configuration of equipment (e.g. radios, modem). Define and realise a cable. Able to manage technicians as part of the project.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Requirements:<br><br> <br><br>Knowledge and experience in naval installation, test, maintenance and repair of communication systems. Desirable experience in military environments. English: B2. IT tools advanced experience. Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment. Daily tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, troubleshooting system issues, and completing high-quality repairs in a timely manner. The technician will communicate clearly with customers about findings, explain recommended services, provide estimates when needed, and ensure customer satisfaction at the completion of each job. Additional responsibilities include accurately documenting work performed, maintaining tools and service vehicles, following safety standards and local codes, and collaborating with dispatch and office staff to manage the daily schedule. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues. Experience with maintenance & repair of heating and cooling equipment, including performing safe and efficient system start-ups and shut-downs. Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as filter changes, coil cleaning, and system performance checks. Commitment to customer satisfaction, including professional communication, timely follow-up, and respectful in-home or on-site behavior. Current EPA certification (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe) for handling refrigerants in compliance with regulations. Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles related to HVAC systems. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC trade program or apprenticeship is preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally to customer sites in Alexandria and surrounding areas. Ability to lift and move equipment, work in confined spaces or at heights, and perform tasks in varying weather conditions.
