Attend and contribute to production meetings with Egyptian Navy officials, providing updates and discussing all aspects of the work related to the shops under my management.<br>
Oversee and manage daily operations across various specialized shops, ensuring that each shop is meeting its production and operational goals. Shops include valve, compressor, shaft work, pumps and motors, and inside machinist.<br>
Act as a primary point of contact for Chief Engineers and Captains of the ships being supported and address any questions or concerns regarding the work and providing timely assistance as needed.<br>
Receive, inspect, verify, and distribute all documentation related to the shops under my supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards before dissemination.<br>
Ensure a smooth workflow by monitoring team performance and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. Ensure timely completion of tasks in alignment with production deadlines.<br>
Maintain effective working relationships with workers, customers, and Port Engineers. Assure that issues are resolved efficiently and with minimal disruption to the project, when complaints or disputes occur, whether directly or through managers, supervisors, or other resources.<br>
Ensure worker safety and environmental concerns are constantly monitored, and problems are effectively resolved.<br>
Provide timely and comprehensive inputs for the Monthly Status Report.</p>
<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>
<p>High school diploma or GED.<br>
Possess leadership skills, including conflict resolution, real-time decision-making, high performance expectations, and the capability of inspiring the team to meet them.<br>
Working knowledge of intermediate and depot-level repair procedures, repair, maintenance standards, quality assurance specifications, and proper use of IMA industrial machinery.<br>
Proficiency using hand tools, precision measurement tools, and equipment to perform repairs and have a thorough knowledge of standard shipyard practices.<br>
Strong customer relationship skills to achieve customer satisfaction through their buy-in to business and project realities rather than diluting project actuals.<br>
Must have leadership experience, leading a team of 5-10 personnel.<br>

<p><strong>Technical Supervision and Execution</strong></p><ul><li>Site Supervision: Monitoring all execution stages step by step (excavation works, concrete works, masonry works and finishing works).</li><li>Work Inspection and Handover: Inspecting completed works and ensuring compliance with engineering standards before proceeding to the next stage.</li></ul><p><strong>Resource Management</strong></p><ul><li>Labor Management: Directing and distributing tasks among workers and technicians while monitoring their performance.</li><li>Material Management: Estimating required construction material quantities, requesting them from warehouses or suppliers, and ensuring their quality and proper storage.</li></ul><p><strong>Quality and Safety Control</strong></p><ul><li> Quality Control: Ensuring the quality of the materials used (such as reinforcing steel and concrete) and conducting the necessary laboratory tests.</li><li>Occupational Health and Safety: Applying site safety instructions, ensuring workers wear protective equipment, and providing a safe working environment.</li><li>Continuous Coordination: Coordinating between technical office engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow without obstacles.</li><li>Report Preparation: Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports (DPR) to clarify progress percentages and completed works.</li></ul><p>Problem Solving: Handling any obstacles or errors that arise during execution immediately and providing suitable engineering solutions</p>

<ul><li><p>Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs before execution.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and maintain project quality documentation, including PQP, QMPs, ITPs, and related quality forms.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate concrete trial mixes and material testing with suppliers and clients.</p></li><li><p>Inspect incoming materials and ensure compliance with project specifications.</p></li><li><p>Conduct site inspections to verify that work is executed according to approved standards and quality requirements.</p></li><li><p>Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories and inspection agencies.</p></li><li><p>Perform supplier and subcontractor quality audits when required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and testing documentation.</p></li><li><p>Follow up on punch list items and support project close-out activities until final</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Civil or architect Engineering.</p></li><li><p>3–7 years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer in construction projects.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in excavation, concrete, infrastructure, and finishing works.</p></li><li><p>Very good knowledge of quality management systems and inspection procedures.</p></li><li><p>Experience in preparing and reviewing quality documentation (PQP, QMP, ITP, NCR, MIR, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.</p></li><li><p>Very good command of English (written).</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.</p></li></ul><p></p>
