<p><strong>Job Profile:</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Engineer with a strong background in industrial manufacturing and mechanical sourcing to join our procurement team.</p><p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of mechanical spare parts, industrial equipment, and manufacturing-related services.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead sourcing activities, including identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers, with a strong focus on mechanical spare parts, industrial equipment, and maintenance services.</li><li>Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and reliable supply.</li><li>Manage and follow up on all ongoing purchase orders to ensure compliance with agreed terms, specifications, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Coordinate with internal departments to align delivery schedules and ensure smooth receipt and utilization of materials.</li><li>Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and Payment Requests (PRs) in line with company procedures.</li><li>Handle the full procurement cycle from PO creation to delivery follow-up, including issue resolution and escalation when required.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.</li><li>Prepare detailed commercial and technical comparison sheets to support supplier evaluation and final award decisions.</li><li>Manage supplier performance and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Handle supplier claims, follow up on discrepancies, and ensure compensation or corrective actions where applicable.</li><li>Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely supplier payments according to agreed terms.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, cost reduction initiatives, and supplier performance.</li></ul>
