<ul><li>Job Summary</li><li>The R&amp;D Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving washing machine products and related components. The role focuses on product innovation, performance optimization, cost reduction, quality improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.</li><li>Key Responsibilities</li><li>Product Development</li><li>Design and develop new washing machine products, systems, and components.</li><li>Participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept to mass production.</li><li>Create engineering specifications, technical drawings, and product documentation.</li><li>Support localization projects and product customization for different markets.</li><li>Research &amp; Innovation</li><li>Conduct market and technology research to identify new trends and innovations.</li><li>Evaluate new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods.</li><li>Benchmark competitor products and recommend improvements.</li><li>Testing &amp; Validation</li><li>Plan and conduct product performance, reliability, and durability tests.</li><li>Analyze test results and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues during development and production phases.</li><li>Ensure products meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration</li><li>Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams.</li><li>Support pilot production and mass production launches.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers regarding technical specifications and component development.</li><li>Cost Optimization &amp; Continuous Improvement</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.</li><li>Improve product efficiency, energy consumption, and overall performance.</li><li>Lead engineering change management activities.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Reporting</li><li>Prepare technical reports, engineering change notices (ECN), and product specifications.</li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation and development records.</li><li>Present project updates and technical recommendations to management.</li></ul>
