Q 04<br>Important Note:Send Resume to: careers@yba-architects.com<br>Scope of the Role To review quantity take-off works, develop draft Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and Methods of Measurement (MOM), and ensure alignment and consistency among them (in both Arabic and English), for all architectural and structural items across a group of integrated projects, accurately and within the required timeframe. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities· Follow up and review quantity take-off works, draft BOQs, and Methods of Measurement (MOM) (in both Arabic and English) for all architectural and structural items across a group of integrated projects, accurately and within the required timeframe.· Develop item descriptions in the pre-prepared BOQs to suit the specific site and project conditions.· Ensure timely completion of the assigned group of projects.· Coordinate BOQs, measurement methods, and specifications to ensure there are no discrepancies among them.· Coordinate information flow to quantity engineers regarding new projects or updates and modifications to ongoing ones.· Prepare preliminary cost estimates based on the CSI format· Responsible for tools and materials used by his/her team· Responsible for reviewing tools and materials used in multiple products· Responsible for reviewing all tools and materials used in the organization· Has access to financial data or department budget information· Oversees the budget and proposes suggestions that may impact financial decisions· Approves or prepares the organization’s financial budget<br>Job Competences· Advanced cost estimation and budgeting.· Risk identification and mitigation.· Financial reporting and forecasting.· Proficiency in relevant software and tools.· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.<br>Professional Qualification & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.· Minimum 6-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with significant exposure to architectural projects.· Familiarity with quantity surveying and architectural software (e.g. Power Point, Auto CAD, Revit) is advantageous.· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
