<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><ul><li>Forsee the development of applications or new products and Services for INNOV Division and Group Affiliates (OINIS, OB, OEG, OMEA,) and insure the delivery of the projects at the right TTM, Cost and Quality.</li><li>Contribute to technical strategy and production of IT&S, NETWORK, RESEARCH and other INNOV entities.</li><li>Manage a # 140-person team with a Total Budget of + 5M\u20ac</li><li>Develop relationships with/between relevant INNOV stakeholders and Affiliates countries</li><li>Manage & develop skilled, agile and collaborative teams</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Define and implement a consistent Lab strategy aligned with INNOV and Global IT</li><li>Define Lab organization and priorities, hire, develop and manage Teams</li><li>Set up a flat and agile organization, with defined roles for relationship management with INNOV and Affiliates, and domain management for production.</li><li>Stabilize team organization regarding local context (attrition, expertise) and create a fruitful innovation context to empower Lab creativity skills to deliver innovation</li><li>Define the Lab objectives and follow up the execution with the appropriate KPIs</li><li>Build the production and financial budget and follow the budget consumption</li><li>Report accurately and timely on the activities and finance status through relevant dashboards</li><li>Look for and promote Federation and Platforming initiatives within country and region</li><li>Lead INNOV projects deployments while reinforcing affiliate context knowledge, develop relationships with relevant stakeholders (technical & business), ensure their satisfaction</li><li>Manage Lab production plan, as defined with INNOVentities.</li><li>Animate and contribute to transversal activities with the other international center.</li><li>Strengthen and develop Lab internal systems and processes consistent with INNOV framework & ways of working (Quality Management System, Security compliance, GDPR, Eco-design, CSR, HR )</li><li>Lead the relationship with local hosting company (Orange Egypt) regarding HR, finance and procurement processes.</li><li>Establish relationships with external market players, like OTT, Telcos, Service providers, technology players.</li><li>Make sure of the maintenance of the premise, equipment and on-site security</li></ul><p><strong>Management</strong></p><ul><li>Managing a team of 140+ engineers, developers or researchers</li><li>Hire, train and develop Lab people. Define team's skills development plan.</li><li>Develop skills, especially those around Cloud native, Data & AI, DevSecOps, and Automation, in respect of the INNOV technology strategy.</li><li>Empower Lab managers on expertise and management.</li><li>Manage Lab talents and replacement plans</li><li>Manage the career path development of the teams</li><li>Conduct regular market benchmarks to ensure the proper salary positioning</li><li>Maintain and improve the lab working conditions as to secure a healthy and creative environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Professional Knowledge and capability</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of IT/technical industry experience & expertise</li><li>Strong innovation skills and vision on technical team development</li><li>Good understanding of Telcos including B2B or B2C businesses</li><li>Technical experience in IT, Platforms, Agile methods, Devops, SAFE framework</li><li>Strong ability of strong ecosystem engagement & networking</li><li>To transform & strengthen an innovative, agile & technology driven team</li><li>Business development, as well as capability of managing multiple tasks</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in managing a team of experienced engineers</li><li>Previous customer-facing experience as a technical lead</li><li>International exposure in multicultural environments</li><li>Able to share a technology vision, and to anticipate evolutions</li><li>Knowledge and connections within Orange-Innovation and other Group entities</li></ul><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>At least Master's degree</li><li>Must have 2 languages out of English, French, Arabic</li></ul>
