Senior Non Key Experts in the Digital Connectivity Study for Agriculture (PRIDA II)<br>NTU International is currently supporting the Policy and Regulation Initiative for Digital Africa II EC-INTPA/ADD/2024/EA-RP/0030.<br>The assignment will be carried out under PRIDA II Output 1: “Improved capacities of AUC in supporting selected AU MS for implementing thematic digital strategies in education; health and agriculture” project plan Activity 1.1 – Studies, reports and strategies to support AUC implementation and domestication of Sectorial digital polices<br>NTU International is seeking 3 Senior Non Key Experts to support our team of experts in this technical assistance.<br>Geographic Coverage<br>The place of posting of Non-Key Experts is the AUC premises in Addis Ababa, with most of the working days delivered home-based or on remote missions.<br>The assignment shall cover all five AU geographic regions: North, West, Central, East, and Southern Africa. Project Name: Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) About Etijah Youth and Development Consultancy Institute Etijah is a non-profit organization specialized in developing, improving and disseminating development methodologies in the field of youth and community development. Etijah primary concern is to create and tailor up-to-date and high-quality development methodologies, research tools, applicable practices of youth development and training delivery models, to be able to qualify youth by providing them with the skills, know-how, and aptitudes, as well as contribute in building the capacity of governmental and non-governmental youth-serving organizations. Our role is to provide youth with direct access to unconditional participation by providing them with practical tools and models for developing community-wide initiatives. The project aims to strengthen GBV prevention efforts by providing awareness-raising activities that enhance participants knowledge of GBV, harmful practices, available services, and safe referral pathways. To support project implementation, Etijah seeks to engage qualified consultants to facilitate GBV awareness sessions for women and girls who are survivors of GBV or at risk of GBV. Objective of the Assignment The consultant will design and facilitate interactive GBV awareness sessions that increase participants understanding of: Gender-Based Violence (GBV) concepts and forms. Harmful practices affecting women and girls. Prevention and risk mitigation measures. Available GBV services and referral pathways. Safety planning and available support mechanisms. Women s rights and available protection services. The sessions should promote participation, respect confidentiality, and create a safe and supportive learning environment. Scope of Work The consultant will be responsible for: Preparing session plans and facilitation materials. Delivering interactive awareness sessions using participatory methodologies. Encouraging active participation while ensuring a survivor-centered approach. Coordinating with the Safe Space Coordinator regarding session scheduling. Reporting any protection concerns in accordance with established referral procedures. Submitting a brief session report after each activity.
