Operating and monitoring the readiness of boilers according to approved operating procedures. Monitor steam pressure, temperature, and water level to ensure safe operation. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers and their accessories. Monitor feed pumps, safety valves, and boiler control systems. Conduct periodic inspections and report any faults, leaks, or reduced efficiency. Monitor boiler water quality and coordinate with specialists to ensure proper chemical treatment. Record daily operating readings and prepare fault and maintenance reports. Collaborate with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams during repair and maintenance work. Adhere to occupational safety instructions and safe boiler operation procedures, and use personal protective equipment. Keep the boiler room and related equipment clean. Perform any other tasks related to the nature of the job assigned by the direct supervisor.
