Accounting & Cost Control Manager — Manufacturing & Factory Operations<br>Position Overview<br>The Accounting & Cost Control Manager oversees total financial, cost accounting, and plant-level operations for our manufacturing facility. This role combines hands-on balance sheet and general ledger management with rigorous cost control, variance analysis, and standard costing. You will work directly with plant operations, production managers, and executive leadership to track product margins, optimize manufacturing overhead, and ensure financial compliance.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Cost Control & Plant Accounting<br>Standard Costing & Variance Analysis: Establish, update, and maintain standard costing models for raw materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead. Analyze job-order and process cost variances (price, efficiency, volume) on a weekly and monthly basis. Inventory Control & Valuation: Oversee physical stock counts, cycle counts, raw material inventory, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods valuation. Identify stock obsolescence and manage write-down risks. Bill of Materials (BOM) & Routing Audits: Partner with production and engineering teams to audit BOM accuracy, scrap rates, and production routings to ensure accurate job costing. Plant Operational Metrics: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as cost per unit produced, scrap percentage, yield efficiency, and machine downtime costs.<br>Financial Reporting & Financial Operations<br>Closing & Reporting: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes for the plant. Prepare manufacturing P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. General Ledger & Compliance: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll allocation, and local tax/statutory reporting for factory operations. Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) Tracking: Monitor factory equipment investments, asset depreciation schedules, repair vs. replace decisions, and Cap Ex ROI. Audit & Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for external financial and inventory auditors.<br>Team Leadership<br>Supervise, train, and evaluate plant accountants, inventory controllers, and administrative finance staff.<br>Qualifications & Requirements<br>Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Management. CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CPA is strongly preferred. Experience: 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a factory or heavy manufacturing environment leading cost accounting/cost control functions. Technical Skills: Deep expertise in ERP manufacturing modules (e.g., SAP, Net Suite, Odoo, Infor) focusing on Inventory, Costing, and Production Control. Advanced Excel proficiency (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas). This role oversees daily tourism operations, including coordinating guided tours, managing booking schedules, and ensuring smooth delivery of travel services such as excursions, activities, and transportation. The Tourism Manager collaborates closely with local guides and tourism representatives to maintain service quality, respond to traveler inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include developing and executing tourism marketing initiatives, monitoring customer feedback, and identifying opportunities to improve traveler experiences and offerings. The role also involves building partnerships with local service providers, maintaining accurate records and reports, and aligning operations with company standards and goals.<br>Qualifications<br> Candidates should possess skills in Tourism Management and Tourism, with experience overseeing travel operations and coordinating services. Candidates should possess strong Guided Tours skills, including planning itineraries, coordinating local guides, and ensuring safe, engaging experiences for travelers.
