<strong>Role Purpose<br><br></strong>Lead Operational Excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost through Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with cGMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead production and/or packaging teams to achieve production target.</li><li>Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across production operations.</li><li>Drive process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity improvement projects.</li><li>Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs including OEE, throughput, cycle time, and equipment utilization.</li><li>Identify process bottlenecks and implement sustainable improvement solutions.</li><li>Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and problem-solving activities.</li><li>Facilitate Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Visual Management.</li><li>Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve operational performance.</li><li>Support equipment commissioning, process validation, technology transfer, and CAPEX projects from an Operational Excellence perspective.</li><li>Develop dashboards, monitor performance metrics, and report improvement progress.</li><li>Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, Quality Systems, and Data Integrity requirements.</li><li>Coach and develop manufacturing teams on Operational Excellence principles and continuous improvement methodologies.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy,Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering major.</li><li>4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial operations.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Excellence.</li><li>Experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE, and cGMP requirements.</li><li>Excellent analytical, project management, leadership, and communication skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Core Competencies<br><br></strong><ul><li>Operational Excellence</li><li>Lean Manufacturing</li><li>Continuous Improvement</li><li>Industrial Engineering</li><li>OEE &amp; KPI Management</li><li>Process Optimization</li><li>Root Cause Analysis &amp; CAPA</li><li>Lean Tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM)</li><li>Project Management</li><li>Cross-functional Collaboration</li><li>Leadership &amp; Coaching</li></ul>

Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Electrical & Operations Engineer to take full responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and performance of our biogas upgrading and production facility in Nubaria. This is a field-based leadership role, not an office position. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in operational environments, has strong technical depth, and can own the site end-to-end—from equipment performance to team coordination and uptime optimization. Key Responsibilities1. Plant Operation & Performance Lead the daily operation of the biogas upgrading and energy production systems Ensure continuous, efficient, and safe plant performance Monitor key operational parameters (gas quality, pressure, flow, energy output) Optimize plant efficiency and minimize downtime2. Electrical Systems Management Oversee all electrical systems, control panels, instrumentation, and automation systems Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure rapid resolution Maintain and improve system reliability and performance3. Maintenance & Reliability Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans Ensure proper maintenance of compressors, upgrading units, pumps, and auxiliary systems Coordinate with suppliers and technicians for specialized interventions Maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports4. Site Leadership & Team Coordination Lead on-site technicians and operators Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards Coordinate daily activities and ensure operational discipline Act as the primary responsible person on-site5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Report operational performance, issues, and KPIs to management Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost reduction Support scaling and replication of operations across future sites Candidate Profile Education & Certification Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory) Relevant certifications in industrial systems, maintenance, or energy systems are a strong plus Experience5–10 years of hands-on experience in industrial operations Proven experience in operating and maintaining production or energy facilities Background in biogas, gas systems, utilities, or heavy industry is highly preferred Technical Skills Strong knowledge of:Electrical systems and industrial control systems SCADA / PLC systems Motors, compressors, pumps, and instrumentation Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently Personal Attributes Highly hands-on and field-oriented (not office-based) Strong ownership mindset – able to run the site as if it’s his own Leadership capability with operational discipline Problem-solver with a proactive approach Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment What We’re Really Looking For We are not looking for a typical engineer.
