By maintaining accurate records in CMMS (Maximo), optimizing warehouse practices, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, the technician supports seamless logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials to meet business needs. The technician also plays a key role in applying best practices, such as FIFO and 5S, to promote a well-organized, safe, and high-performing warehouse environment.</p><p>Responsibilities/Duties</p><ul><li>Inventory Management</li><li>Organize and store materials in the warehouse according to established processes and procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with periodic inventory counts.</li><li>Ensure all outgoing shipments are labeled and documented according to company procedures.</li><li>Pick stock based on the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.</li><li>Order Fulfillment:</li><li>Prepare material receiving reports for accepted goods or a receiving rejection report for returns to suppliers if materials are not up to specifications.</li><li>Fulfill material requests from different departments as per schedules or Maximo requests.</li><li>Ensure materials are issued in compliance with the relevant specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Quality Control:</li><li>Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet quality standards as per the purchase order and procurement department guidelines.</li><li>Report any damaged or defective items to the appropriate personnel.</li><li>Inspect received materials, ensuring the proper quantity, condition, and inclusion of required certificates (e.g., Certificates of Conformity and Testing, where applicable).</li><li>Documentation and Reporting:</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts.</li><li>Generate reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and material conditions.</li><li>Support operations and maintenance with the goods receipt process and materials acceptance.</li><li>Cleaning and Organization:</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible warehouse environment to improve operational efficiency.</li><li>Assist with the arrangement of materials and products to optimize space and workflow.</li><li>Technical Support:</li><li>Assist in setting up and maintaining warehouse systems and technologies.</li><li>Troubleshoot any issues related to inventory management systems or warehouse equipment.</li><li>Collaboration and Communication:</li><li>Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members to align on tasks and priorities.</li><li>Spare Parts and Tool Management:</li><li>Manage spare parts and tools, ensuring final take-over from the customer (NAT).</li><li>Oversee the collection of tools requiring calibration.</li><li>5S Methodology Implementation:</li><li>Apply 5S methodology within storerooms to ensure continuous improvements in organization and efficiency.</li><li>Safety</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.</li><li>Participate in safety training programs and support the development of safety practices within the warehouse.</li><li>Take appropriate actions to dispose of scrap materials following company procedures.</li><li>Ensure proper safety measures are followed during the operation of warehouse equipment.</li><li>Maximo Update</li><li>Update Maximo with data related to received stock, ensuring accurate inventory records.</li><li>Issue materials to departments based on scheduled requests and Maximo stock orders.</li><li>Utilize Maximo for generating stock issue requests and maintaining real-time inventory data.</li><li>Additional Responsibilities:</li><li>Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor or warehouse management team.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Qualifications:</li><li>High school diploma; <p>The Senior Manager - Commercial will lead and execute the Contract Logistics commercial strategy, with balanced accountability across sales growth, new business development, and best-in-class account management. The role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening DSV’s brand positioning across Egypt. </p><p>Leading a fully integrated commercial team spanning sales, business development, and key account management, this individual will ensure a disciplined and coordinated approach to winning new business, developing strategic customer partnerships, and maximizing customer lifetime value. <p>Overview. Responsibilities. Qualifications.<br>Responsibilities include receiving raw materials (cartons / packaging paper / rolls / corn / oil – food enhancers) from suppliers/manufacturers, issuing raw materials to production and other factories (October, Assiut, Tanas), and recording this issuance daily. Implementation of food safety instructions, attendance of training sessions, and submission of daily and monthly inventory participation reports. Full responsibility for stock, reviewing daily balances, and ensuring they match the ledger (Excel and SAP). Coordination of the warehouse and placing each item separately according to the production date (and labeling raw materials). Monthly reporting to the direct manager on total incoming, total returns, and total expenditures related to the factories. Receiving damaged returns weekly (and preparing a report for management to provide materials for issuing a supply order to suppliers). Ensuring product stock according to FIFO system. Achieving KPI results. Following safety and health management instructions and attending training sessions. Evaluating active participation. Skills: • At least a secondary qualification (higher qualification preferred). Communication and accuracy skills in work. Team spirit. Join in physical count committee as a warehouse department representative. Submit a report to warehouse manager to clarify any issues in warehouse management cycle either physically or on system, with providing the necessary recommendations to solve these issues. Submit a periodic report for slow-moving items/obsolete items in inventory to warehouse manager and submit recommendations to take necessary actions. Avoid any observations related to inventory or warehouse which exist in internal/external audit reports and submit detailed report with these observations to warehouse manager if any. Tracking items which have expiration date in inventory and submit a periodic report for them to warehouse manager to take necessary actions towards them . Follow-up on warehouse team performance in project and submit report to warehouse manager with this performance . The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, packaging, loading, and dispatch of products. Supervise on general status of the store in terms of appearance, cleanliness, and arranging items in a proper way that preserving inventory without waste or damage. Organize and distribute tasks between storekeepers in project warehouse in a proper way to avoid any disturbance of workflow and ensuring the team productivity. Ensure that warehouse policy and procedures have been followed in all of warehouse movements including record all transactions on ERP system. Ensure the storage of items in a proper place according to nature of each item, with posting item code on each item. Review on a periodic bases to ensure that all inventory transactions (receiving, issuing, transfer, return, etc.) have been recorded on ERP system. Follow-up encoding for un-coded items with concerned departments. Follow-up with purchasing representative in project to release purchase order for purchased items through purchasing custody. Follow-up minimum and maximum policy for items which assigned to warehouse to follow-up them based on project manager instructions. Submit monthly reports to warehouse manager for items movement distributed based on each category (electrical, mechanical, civil, spare parts, etc.). Submit monthly report to warehouse manager and project manager for items which close to expire. Submit scrap selling requests for scrap in project to scrap committee after approval from project manager. Evaluate warehouse team which work under his supervision twice a year. Ensure work according to HSE policy and instructions including risk assessment.
