<span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions. At our hotels these associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to support cleaning needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers), or transporting dishware or linens across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.<br>No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success – creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Seat guests by finding a clean, available table; pulling out chairs; placing clean/current menu in front of guest, etc. Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance. Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs. Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard place setting. Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well being of guests.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. <h4>What you will do</h4>
<li>Train and facilitate key hotel and Four Seasons training programs including but not limited to, Embark orientation, service foundations, leadership behaviors, departmental standard training, compliance training, Leadership Development courses etc.</li>
<li>Assign, train, manage and deploy designated trainers who are strong in the continuous development of peers for job-role techniques in alignment with FS standards.</li>
<li>Inspire and train leaders to effectively participate in the development and training of other employees; this is critical to the successful delivery of the L&D mission.</li>
<li>Ensure service quality through the study of LQA/Forbes and other third-party evaluation results.</li>
<li>Get involved in operational improvements where learning can contribute to the solution, and state when it cannot.</li>
<li>Enforce Four Seasons standards through testing and training.</li>
<li>Plan and execute property-wide change initiatives, including service initiatives, company-wide change initiatives, and other large-scale projects related to growth and learning.</li>
<li>Select and manage external vendors to deliver specialized training on service and/or management skills.</li>
<li>Base the direction for learning on a thorough Learning Needs Analysis.</li>
<li>Create and produce a Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and Training Plan aligned to the property’s goals and budget cycle.</li>
<li>Create and adhere to an annual budget for all training programs, initiatives, and learning resources.</li>
<li>Willingness to contribute to the operation where needed.</li>
<li>Strong administrative, communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills are required.</li>
<li>Assist with all other P&C duties as needed, including but not limited to: employee events, policies, recruitment, interviewing, health and safety, community outreach, ordering and purchasing.</li>
<h4>What you bring</h4>
<li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a managerial capacity;</li>
<li>Experience in hotel operations, preferably Four Seasons or other service environments; or</li>
<li>Experience in adult education or a similar environment;</li>
<li>Experience managing in diverse cultures.</li>
<li>University education or equivalent experience.</li>
