<p>You ll be joining our Data engineering, Reporting and Analytics practice, a core part of our Technology, Data & Analytics business unit. We support our clients in delivering a variety of transformation projects across the commercial sector from defining data strategies to helping architect, design and implement modern data and analytics solutions using the latest cloud technologies. The role will provide you with an opportunity to work across a portfolio of clients, with a focus on large and complex organisations. You will work in the team that reports to the Data Analytics delivery service leadership team and will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo, as well as those delivering client transformation programmes across the PwC Global Network, including the UK, Germany and Middle East. Title Technical Director - Smart Infrastructure <br>Reports ToGeneral Manager - Smart Infrastructure <br>Job Summary The Smart Infrastructure Technical Director is responsible for leading and managing the full technical lifecycle — engineering, implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover — of all Smart Infrastructure and ELV systems across multiple concurrent projects. This includes Video Management Systems (VMS/CCTV), Access Control, Security Systems, Data Networks (structured cabling, IP networking, fiber), Video Analytics, Data Center (DC) infrastructure preparation, BMS, IoT platforms, Smart Cities and other related low-voltage systems. The role ensures systems are designed, implemented, and commissioned in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, applicable standards, and manufacturer recommendations while delivering projects safely, efficiently, and within schedule.<br>Key Responsibilities Engineering & Design Oversight• Review and validate system design, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications across all disciplines (VMS, access control, security, networks, video analytics, DC infrastructure, IoT).• Support detailed engineering, BOQ/BOM validation, and technical submittals during design development.• Ensure designs align with project requirements, applicable codes/standards, and manufacturer guidelines prior to implementation.• Review and approve shop drawings, as-built drawings, and method statements.
