Terminally ill patients are patients who no longer receive curative treatment and are receiving hospice care. It also provides support to the family members of the patient even after the patient passes away. Hospice Egypt services are completely free of charge to adult terminally ill patients regardless of their race, religion, gender, or socioeconomic class. The project receives patients referred from different referral bodies and provides its services which are nursing, medical, social, psychological, and financial support through its trained multidisciplinary mobile hospice team. Hospice Egypt continues to meet its mission and develop its services by establishing a new stationary hospice building to serve terminally ill patients who have no caregivers supporting them.
