RSM Egypt is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – External Audit to join its Assurance team. The successful candidate will be based at RSM Egypt’s office in Cairo and will support the planning and execution of audit engagements, supervise engagement teams, ensure high-quality audit deliverables, and contribute to building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:• Plan, manage, and execute external audit engagements in accordance with audit methodologies and professional standards.• Supervise audit teams, review workpapers, and ensure timely completion of engagement deliverables.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact for engagement matters.• Identify client needs and provide value-added insights and recommendations.• Perform risk assessments, develop audit programs, review audit evidence, and ensure proper documentation of audit procedures.• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, resource utilization, and overall engagement efficiency.• Ensure compliance with audit quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.• Support team development through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance feedback.• Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and strengthening client relationships.
Requirements:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is required.• Minimum 6.5 years of relevant external audit experience.• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.• Experience managing audit engagements and supervising audit teams.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is required.• Strong commitment to professional ethics, quality, and continuous learning.
