Your Job<br><br>The Customs Manager will lead and coordinate customs and trade compliance activities across the Africa and Middle East region. Strong knowledge of tariff classification, customs valuation, rules of origin, free trade agreements, customs documentation and special customs procedures. Proven experience working with customs authorities, customs brokers, freight forwarders and logistics service providers. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. Oversee inventory planning and control to ensure optimal stock levels. Coordinate logistics, transportation, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners. Analyze demand forecasts and collaborate with sales, production, and operations teams to ensure supply availability. Manage warehouse operations and inventory accuracy. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, KPIs, and operational efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team. Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM are an advantage. Experience Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related functions. Manage the Plant Phase progression and IL6S Roadmap. Train and qualify Pillar leads and colleagues on CI/IL6S tools, techniques, and Standard Work Procedures (SWPs). Ensure adherence to our established Daily Management System (DMS) across departments. Manage Hoshin review meetings. Extract and provide data from the system to support IL6S activities and the DMS. Identify process improvement needs with department leads, facilitate sessions, and support the execution of new improvements. Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools to address identified losses and gaps. Collaborate with Managers, Coaches, and Operators to deliver required CI/IL6S initiatives in each area.
