Hospice Egypt is a project of Jossab foundation that provides hospice services that improve the quality of life and allow the terminal patient to pass away in dignity. Terminally ill patients are patients who no longer receive curative treatment and are receiving hospice care. It also provides support to the family members of the patient even after the patient passes away. Hospice Egypt services are completely free of charge to adult terminally ill patients regardless of their race, religion, gender, or socioeconomic class. The project receives patients referred from different referral bodies and provides its services which are nursing, medical, social, psychological, and financial support through its trained multidisciplinary mobile hospice team.
