The role focuses on screen-level design delivery, from wireframes and prototypes through to polished, developer-ready user interfaces, while also contributing to research activities and maintaining accurate, scalable design system assets. This opportunity is based in Egypt and is well suited to a designer with early product, UI or UX experience who is looking to grow into independent ownership of product areas over time<br><br><br><b>What you’ll do</b> <br>Design screen-level user interfaces using established design patterns, including layout, spacing, hierarchy, interaction states and responsive behaviour.<br> Maintain and improve the design system library, including component naming, variant organisation, instance management and identifying differences between design and production.<br> Prepare design files for handoff, including annotations, specifications, asset exports and responses to implementation questions from engineering teams.<br> Support research operations by helping with participant scheduling, script preparation, note-taking, session recording and first-pass synthesis.<br> Deliver high-quality, on-brand and user-friendly designs in line with agreed delivery timelines.<br> Contribute to smooth design-to-development handoffs and support product improvements informed by user research and data.<br><br><br><b>Who you are</b> <br>You have 1 to 3 years of experience in UI, UX, product design or a related design role. Internship, freelance, agency placement or strong self-directed portfolio experience may also be considered<br> You have experience creating end-to-end product design solutions in agile environments<br> You are proficient in Figma, FigJam or similar tools, with knowledge of component libraries, auto-layout, variables and design tokens.&nbsp;<br> You understand responsive design across different devices and platforms.&nbsp;<br> You have a strong grasp of UX principles, accessibility standards and design best practice.&nbsp;<br> You can translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences.&nbsp;<br> You communicate clearly with stakeholders and can explain design decisions with confidence and evidence.&nbsp;<br> You have a portfolio that demonstrates user-centred design work and practical product thinking<br> A degree in product design, computer engineering, computer science or a related field is beneficial, although equivalent experience may also be relevant.<br> Experience with AI-driven products, scalable design systems, usability testing, motion design, micro-interaction prototyping or HTML/CSS fundamentals would be advantageous.<br><br><br><b>Not a perfect fit?</b> <br><p>Concerned you may not meet every requirement?
