Role Description The HORECA Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of hotel, restaurant, and café customers. Day-to-day tasks include visiting clients, presenting product offerings, negotiating prices and terms, and following up on orders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing sales plans for assigned territories, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. The Sales Representative collaborates with internal teams such as logistics and finance to resolve issues, support smooth operations, and achieve sales targets. Regular market visits, competitor monitoring, and participation in promotions or events are also key aspects of this role. Qualifications Proven experience in HORECA or B2B sales, preferably within the foodservice, FMCG, or hospitality sectors. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage accounts and maintain customer loyalty. Good communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic fluency and additional languages are a plus. Ability to work on-site, conduct frequent client visits across Cairo, and manage time and territory effectively. Basic understanding of sales processes, order management, and CRM or similar sales tracking tools. Comfort with using MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and mobile communication tools for reporting and coordination. <p>Plan and schedule the project from scratch and/or developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application of the primavera P6 software. Identify the project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks and targets to determine the staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project through the project measurement system. Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly/ reports with respect to review of the overall project. Progress monitoring of specific projects on a regular basis. Anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts. Prepare and maintain package work plans and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule. Co ordinate internal project team reviews followed by an approval and review by the client of the work schedule, progress measurement and reporting systems. Review status reports, modify schedules and plans as required and keep the management and Project director apprised of the progress on a regular basis. Ensure that project controls documents such as resources histogram, schedules, reporting systems, material controls systems, etc. are fully developed by the designated personnel and reviewed by Project Management that Engineering and Procurement interfaces are properly addressed. The role will be responsible for reviewing and preparing technical documentation, coordinating MEP activities, managing quantities and subcontractor documents, and ensuring that technical requirements are properly addressed throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and technical documents for MEP works.• Review drawings and coordinate MEP systems with other disciplines.• Prepare and review Material Submittals, RFIs, and technical submissions.• Review subcontractors' quantities, invoices, and payment applications.• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.• Ensure that MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.• Assist in monitoring project quantities and variations.• Prepare and maintain technical office documentation and reports.• Use Auto CAD for reviewing and preparing technical drawings and layouts.• Support the project team in resolving technical and coordination issues.
