Maintenance Planner<br> <br>Sukari is located approximately 750km from Cairo and 25km from Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. First gold was poured in June 2009 and commercial production began in April 2010, making Sukari the first modern gold mine in Egypt, a country which in ancient times was a prolific producer of the precious metal. Sukari conducts both open-pit and underground mining operations, each employing specialised mining methods tailored to the orebody characteristics and operational requirements.<br> <br>The Role<br> <br>The Maintenance Planner schedules, prepares, and coordinates preventive, corrective, and planned component change-out activities for the mobile equipment fleet at Sukari to maximise availability and reliability while minimising downtime and total maintenance cost. The platform is expanding from orchestrating workloads on a managed cluster to owning the full stack on bare-metal GPU infrastructure: a managed Slurm scheduling layer for internal research and model-training teams first, and our own Kubernetes control plane for inference tenancy after that.</p><br><p>The Technical Lead owns the architecture and delivery of that stack and leads the engineering team building it: about twelve engineers across backend, frontend, DevOps, QA and documentation, distributed across Europe and India.
