JOB PURPOSE<br>A Data Protection and Privacy Officer is responsible for educating bank’s employees about data compliance, training members of staff who are involved in processing data, and carrying out regular data protection and privacy audits. He also serve as the main point of contact between the bank and the relevant data protection authorities.<br>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACOUNTABILITIES<br>Builds a strategic and comprehensive privacy program that defines, develops, maintains and implements policies and processes that enable consistent, effective privacy practices which minimize risk and ensure the confidentiality of information, paper and/or electronic, across all media types. Collaborate closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to close client feedback loops and continuously enhance solution competitiveness.<br>Qualifications Basic Requirements- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales, business analysis, or solutions roles, with proven experience independently leading government-sector projects.<br>Technical & Methodological Skills- Proficient in mainstream software design methodologies (e.g., object-oriented design, design patterns, SOA/microservices) and software analysis tools (e.g., Rose, EA, Power Designer).- Skilled in requirements elicitation, use-case analysis, business process modeling, and other software analysis approaches, with the ability to rapidly translate client business language into technical implementation roadmaps.<br>Sector & Regional Knowledge- Familiar with the operational processes of Egyptian government projects, including budget approval, tendering (open bidding, invited bidding, competitive negotiation), contract execution, and acceptance/payment procedures.- Aware of Egyptian local informatization standards, data security regulations, and cultural communication norms.
