About the Role The HVAC Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems and industrial cold rooms within the manufacturing facility. The role focuses on maintaining optimal environmental conditions, maximizing equipment availability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.<br>Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems and industrial cold rooms. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, and air handling units (AHUs). Monitor cold room temperatures and ensure they remain within required operating parameters. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment. Execute maintenance plans according to the preventive maintenance schedule. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Maintain refrigerant systems in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. Monitor system performance and recommend energy-saving improvements.
