Work location: West Al-Minya (the Egyptian countryside) – project site on an area of 6000 feddans (includes a solar power plant with a capacity of 2 MW). Required experience: 2 to 3 years in the electrical works field, with experience in Solar Power Plants (Photovoltaic Systems), and electrical wiring works at agricultural or industrial sites. Tasks and responsibilities: - For the 2 MW solar power plant: monitor operation and maintenance of the solar plant according to technical standards. - Monitor system performance using SCADA or Monitoring Systems. - Perform periodic tests on components (inverters – PV panels – breakers – MCCs – transformers). - Analyze causes of production decline and immediately address technical faults. - Coordinate with service providers or suppliers for warranty and technical support. - Assist in designing and implementing medium and low voltage networks within the project (distribution boards – cables – poles). - Supervise electricity connection to buildings, pumping units, wells, and warehouses. - Prepare electrical load schedules and determine transformer capacities needed for facilities. - Apply electrical safety standards and ensure works comply with the Egyptian Code and NEC/IEC international code. - Prepare periodic technical reports and submit them to project management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering. - Proven experience in solar power plants. - Proficiency in control and monitoring systems, and programs such as AutoCAD – ETAP – Dialux – PVsyst – Excel. - Ability to prepare implementation electrical drawings and technical reports. - Preference for those who have taken courses or certifications in solar energy or energy management. - Strong technical analytical skills and willingness to work in an open field environment. <p><strong>Additional details</strong></p><ul><li>Number of vacancies: 1</li><li>Shift system: morning only</li><li>Benefits: health insurance, social insurance, meals, housing</li></ul>

Job requirements:

Two to three years of professional experience as an Agricultural Engineer specializing in Seedlings.
Proven track record in managing large-scale agricultural projects. Extensive knowledge of modern farming techniques, irrigation systems, and soil science.
Experience with agricultural machinery and precision farming techniques.
Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and project management.
Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Proficiency in data analysis software and agricultural software.
Preference for residents of Minya Governorate or nearby areas.

Our dedication to inclusion strengthens our workforce and helps drive our business forward, enriching both PepsiCo and the communities in North Africa.<br><br>The Utilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the continuous, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant utility systems, including boilers, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, water treatment units, and wastewater systems.<br><br>The role supports production by providing uninterrupted utilities, improving efficiency, reducing energy consumption, and ensuring full compliance with PepsiCo safety and quality standards.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Operations & Monitoring</li><li>Ensure daily operation, monitoring, and control of utilities systems (steam, air, HVAC, chilled water, refrigeration, WWTP,….etc).</li><li>Track utilities KPIs such as energy consumption, water usage, steam efficiency, and specific power consumption.</li><li>Monitor SCADA systems and respond to alarms and deviations.</li><li> Preventive & Corrective Maintenance</li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for utilities equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures in utilities equipment.</li><li>Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely execution of corrective actions.</li><li> SAP PM & Maintenance Management</li><li>Create, update, and close notifications and work orders through SAP PM.</li><li>Ensure accurate logging of maintenance activities, spare parts consumption, and equipment history.</li><li>Analyze SAP PM reports to track breakdown frequency, MTTR, MTBF, and plan PM compliance.</li><li>Support maintenance planning by identifying required spare parts and raising purchase requisitions.</li><li> Reliability & Continuous Improvement</li><li>Identify opportunities to reduce energy and water consumption.</li><li>Improve equipment reliability through root cause analysis (RCA) and proactive actions.</li><li>Support new utilities projects, upgrades, and capacity expansions.</li><li> Safety, Compliance & Documentation</li><li>Ensure full compliance with PepsiCo GEHSMS, ISO,FM Global, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Maintain all utilities documentation (SOPs, logs, calibration records, permits).</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and support process safety management (PSM).</li><li> Cross-functional Support</li><li>Provide utilities support during production shutdowns/startups.</li><li>Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, and Engineering Departments.</li><li>Manage external vendors and contractors for utilities systems.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.</li><li>1–3 years of experience in utilities systems (FMCG or food & beverage preferred).</li><li>Strong knowledge of:</li><ul><li>Boilers & steam systems</li><li>Air compressors</li><li>Chillers & refrigeration systems</li><li>HVAC & cooling towers</li><li>Water treatment (RO, softening, filtration)</li><li>Wastewater treatment</li></ul></ul>
