  • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze and improve bakery processes to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce waste.
    • Collaborate with kitchen and decorating teams to ensure smooth, effective implementation of process changes.
    • Use data to inform and refine production strategies, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish and maintain stringent quality control standards to ensure consistency across all products.
  • Visual Inspection:
    • Appearance: Ensure each order matches the customer’s requested shape, size, and design.
    • Color: Verify that the colors used are accurate and match the requested tones.
    • Decorations: Check that all edible decorations, fondant, and frosting are placed correctly and securely.
    • Text: Review spelling, grammar, and font style for any inscriptions or messages.
    • Stability: Ensure the structural stability of cakes to prevent collapse during transportation.
    • Support: Check that supports or structures are secure and do not interfere with the cake’s aesthetics.
    • Communication: Work with the kitchen and other departments to resolve order discrepancies.
  • Documentation:
    • Inspection Reports: Document any defects or quality issues found and create detailed inspection reports.
    • Corrective Actions: Recommend corrective measures to resolve any quality concerns.
    • Quality Records: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections and quality control activities.
    • Order Handover: Develop a structured handover process for logistics, ensuring orders include all necessary specifications and add-ons, such as candles or cards.
  • Online eCommerce Fulfillment Processes:
    • Oversee and streamline the end-to-end eCommerce order fulfillment process.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of online orders, from receipt to delivery.
    • Coordinate with the production and packaging teams to meet delivery timelines.
    • Manage inventory levels and update the system to reflect current stock availability.
    • Monitor order statuses and resolve any issues or delays in real time.
    • Implement quality checks at every stage of fulfillment to ensure products meet Nino’s Bakery standards.
    • Maintain a seamless connection between the bakery’s Shopify store and fulfillment operations.
  • Gathering Feedback & Creating a Review Process:
    • Feedback: Collect insights from the customer satisfaction team to improve the quality control process.
    • Communication: Inform the production team and management of any identified quality concerns.
    • Customer Service: Support the resolution of quality-related complaints or issues.
    • Analysis: Collaborate with departments to analyze feedback and identify trends for product and service improvement.
    • Sharing Insights: Provide feedback to the production team to guide future cake development.
  • Order Management & Support:
    • Coordinate with kitchen and logistics teams to fulfill orders seamlessly.
    • Implement systems to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
    • Inspection Before Handoff: Conduct final checks on cakes to ensure perfection before logistics takes over.
    • Packaging Verification: Confirm cakes are packaged securely for safe transportation.
    • Documentation: Supply logistics with necessary details, such as delivery instructions and quality control reports.
  • Packaging Process, Add-Ons & Presentation:
    • Box Selection: Ensure boxes are the right size and shape to protect the cake.
    • Box Quality: Check boxes for sturdiness and cleanliness.
    • Placement: Secure the cake within the box to prevent movement.
    • Complementary Items: Verify that additional items (candles, utensils, etc.) are packed securely.
    • Overall Appearance: Ensure the final presentation aligns with Nino’s Bakery’s brand image.
  • Cake of the Week & Review Process:
    • Criteria: Set clear criteria for selecting the “Cake of the Week,” focusing on design, flavor, and customer feedback.
    • Evaluation: Review all cakes produced to identify top contenders.
    • Presentation: Highlight the chosen cake to showcase its excellence.
