Lead the design and development of cloud security strategies for cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, Google Cloud Platform). Define the architecture, security frameworks, and guidelines for cloud security, covering areas like data encryption, identity and access management, and threat prevention. Work with stakeholders to ensure cloud security aligns with business requirements and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, etc.). Conduct regular risk assessments and threat modelling for cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and areas of concern. This role includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. The Senior Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, and ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records. Daily tasks also involve preparing financial statements and management reports, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role will help ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as support internal and external audits. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to track costs, support inventory and fixed asset accounting, and provide analysis to improve profitability. This position reports to the Finance Manager or General Manager and may provide guidance to junior accounting staff.<br>Qualifications<br> <br>Strong accounting and finance knowledge, including general ledger, financial statements, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Solid understanding of local tax laws and regulations in Egypt, including VAT and corporate income tax compliance. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations). Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control, ideally in a manufacturing, retail, or furniture-related environment. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and non-finance stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or local equivalent) is an advantage. <p>As an Analyst, you will apply process expertise to document standard operating procedures, identify key dependencies, lead small workstreams, mentor junior team members, and support operational excellence and transformation initiatives.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities:</h4>

<li>Perform daily reconciliation of incoming cash receipts against open invoices and accounts receivable records.</li>
<li>Apply customer payments accurately in financial systems and ensure correct transaction coding and classification.</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank deposits, expected payments, and system records.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment issues and maintain documentation of cash transactions, adjustments, and reconciliations.</li>
<li>Prepare cash application and outstanding receivables reports and support workflow improvements to reduce errors and improve efficiency.</li>

<li>Experience using enterprise resource planning or accounting systems such as PeopleSoft or Oracle.</li>
<li>Experience in cash applications, accounts receivable reconciliation, payment posting, or discrepancy resolution.</li>
