Roles & Responsibilities:<br>1. Strategic / Financial Ensure that risk management priorities are reflected in TSFE's strategic plans. Ensure that all risk-related activities aligned to the business plan are implemented Formulate and implement risk assurance strategies taking into consideration both internal and external factors that may impact the organizations Periodically review the risk appetite statement, guiding principles, risk taxonomy and due diligence process to provide recommendations to MIC/ExCo. Formulate strategic action plans to minimize, manage, and mitigate business & investment risks and then monitor the progress and execution of the mitigating plans. Establish and ensure maintenance of risk registers to identify, assess and document risk and develop corrective actions, plans , roadmaps etc. Identification and implementation of appropriate risk management tools and software Embed risk management approach into operations & ensure implementation Provide assurance to the Board, committees and leaders of performance against internal controls and risk management systems by publishing and sharing periodic risk reports.<br>2. Operations:Regularly evaluate risk exposure and ensure that overall risks are measured, and thresholds are controlled within predetermined limits. Ensure risk management framework is applied to each step in the deal process to ensure that the key risks are considered at the appropriate steps in the deal funnel and the requisite mitigation measures are taken. Ensure all identified risks will be consistently re-appraised and considered considering the evolving internal and external factors Ensure risk analysis and progress reports are periodically published and shared with concerned stakeholders, including employees, board members, and senior executives. Develop budgets for risk-related projects, get approvals from CEO & Board and supervise implementation Conduct risk assurance and due diligence on behalf of the organization in the events of mergers, acquisitions, and business deals. Ensure collection of risk information from source systems, departments, and maintenance of risk register and reporting thereof. Analyzing the data and applying to various key risk areas to update the risk registers Hold special sessions to resolve issues in case of breach of controls and risk framework. Keep abreast of notices issued by government and of market trends that may have an impact on the organization.<br>3. Customers (Internal / External):Advice and recommend to CEO on all matters relating to business and investment risk activities including breach & non-compliance.
