The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy policies. Daily responsibilities include counseling customers on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions, as well as advising on suitable beauty, skin care, hair care, oral care, and wellness products. The role involves reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, managing stock levels, checking expiry dates, and maintaining proper storage conditions for all medications and health products. The Pharmacist will also collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow, accurate cash handling, and a positive, respectful experience for every customer. Documentation of patient records, adherence to safety and quality standards, and participation in ongoing training are essential parts of the role.<br>Qualifications<br> Licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and valid registration with the relevant national pharmacy council. Strong knowledge of prescription and over-the-counter medications, including indications, contraindications, dosage, and potential interactions. Ability to provide clear, empathetic counseling to customers on medication use, health products, and lifestyle recommendations. Experience in retail pharmacy operations, including inventory control, expiry monitoring, and proper storage of medicines and health products. Comfort working with pharmacy software systems, electronic records, and basic point-of-sale tools. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing, and adherence to pharmacy regulations and company policies. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Willingness to work full-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by branch operations. Previous experience in community or chain pharmacy and familiarity with beauty, skin care, and wellness product ranges is an advantage.
