Role Description: The Production Section Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Ain Sokhna, responsible for overseeing daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This position leads and coordinates production teams, manages production schedules and resources, and monitors performance against targets and quality standards. The role includes optimizing workflows, implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and hygiene regulations. The Production Section Head collaborates with maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions to minimize downtime, control costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves reporting on production KPIs, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and developing team capabilities through coaching and training. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations and ensure adherence to the production plan Manage the production team (supervisors and operators), assign tasks, and monitor performance Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety systems such as HACCP and ISOTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity rate, waste/scrap percentage, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to ensure smooth operations Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction without compromising quality Enforce occupational health, safety, and environmental standards on the shop floor Prepare and submit periodic performance reports to senior management Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field Minimum 6 years of production experience within the FMCG industry (food, beverages, personal care, or similar) Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/9001) Strong leadership and team management skills. Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shift-based schedules Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
