Job Summary We are seeking a Fire Protection Pipe Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in Destructive Testing (DT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the integrity of fire protection piping systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Perform and supervise hydrostatic, pressure, and leakage tests for fire protection piping systems. Conduct and evaluate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities such as Visual Testing (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), as applicable. Coordinate and witness Destructive Testing (DT) activities, including mechanical and weld qualification tests, when required. Verify weld quality and piping integrity in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes and standards. Prepare inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation. Coordinate with QA/QC teams, contractors, consultants, and clients during inspection and testing activities. Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and ensure proper resolution. Ensure all testing activities comply with HSE regulations and company quality procedures. Support system commissioning and final project handover.<br>Qualifications<br>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.3+ years of experience in fire protection, piping, or industrial inspection and testing. Hands-on experience with Destructive Testing (DT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods. Knowledge of fire protection systems, piping standards, and welding inspection. Familiarity with NFPA, and relevant international standards. Ability to read engineering drawings, isometrics, and welding documentation.<br>Preferred Qualifications<br>NDT certification (ASNT Level II or equivalent) is an advantage. Experience with hydrostatic testing, commissioning, and pressure testing. Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation.

Perform welding and repair works for equipment and metal structures using suitable welding methods (arc welding, MIG, TIG as needed). Manufacture, install and repair supports, platforms, ladders, guardrails, and production line parts. Execute metal cutting, forming, and assembly according to drawings or work instructions. Repair cracks and damages in equipment and metal structures ensuring safe operation. Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in coordination with mechanical maintenance teams. Inspect weld quality and ensure compliance with technical specifications. Maintain welding equipment and perform periodic inspections. Adhere to occupational safety procedures during welding, and use personal protective equipment. Keep the work area clean after maintenance work. Report any risks or faults that may affect safe operation. Carry out any other duties related to the nature of the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
