<p>The Signaling Technician is responsible for the routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of signaling systems in Cairo Metro Line 3, including both depot workshops (Abassia and Salam) and station assets. This role involves working with various signaling components such as signal beacons, point machines, track circuits, interlocking systems, and ATC onboard/wayside equipment. The technician will also support installation and calibration activities, perform warranty and emergency repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Lead, mentor, and schedule the daily tasks of the IT technical support team.<br>
Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues reported by staff or guests.<br>
Ensure technical support tickets are resolved efficiently and within agreed service levels (SLAs).</p>

Implement and enforce company cybersecurity policies, firewalls, antivirus compliance, and access controls.<br>
Conduct regular system audits to identify potential vulnerabilities or unauthorized software installations.</p>
<p><strong>4. Inventory & vendor management</strong><br>
Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets, software licenses, and IT peripherals.<br>
Coordinate with external IT vendors and internet service providers (ISPs) for procurement, maintenance, and system upgrades.</p>

<p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br>
<strong>Experience:</strong> 3–5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity (experience in hospitality or large-scale property operations is a strong plus).<br>
<strong>Technical certifications:</strong> CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or ITIL certifications are highly preferred.<br>
<strong>Core skills:</strong><br>
- Strong knowledge of network administration, active directory, firewalls, and VoIP systems.<br>
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across Windows/macOS environments and hardware.<br>
- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills in both English and Arabic.</p>
