The continuous growth of EDF Power Solutions, along with the increasing complexity and size of projects, brings light to the need for a common approach in order to establish and ensure steadiness and consistency, leverage on the projects volumes and capitalize on experience in real time.<br>As a response to that, EDF Power Solutions Egypt, is seeking a Construction Quality Manager (M/F) with substantial experience in Renewable Energy Projects with emphasis on construction quality management to oversee the construction quality aspects of a large scale on-shore wind project located in Egypt nearby Ras Shukeir and ensure that works are to the right quality standards as per the EPC Contract and other Project Agreement Requirements.<br>The Construction Quality Manager (M/F) will be located at Ras Shukeir, Egypt. He/She is meant to be permanently based at site. Start date: November 2026<br>The position reports to the EPC Contract Director, while maintaining a functional link with EDF Power Solutions Egypt Chief Operating Officer and EDF Power Solutions Quality Corporate team<br>Main responsibilities<br>The Construction Quality Manager (M/F) will undertake the responsibilities, tasks and duties listed below:<br>Ensure that the Works are executed to the right quality standards as per the EPC Contract and other Project Agreement Requirements. Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Works are executed as per the Quality management plans Participate in developing best practices and tools for project quality management Be responsible for the overall strategy for the Quality Assurance /Quality Control monitoring activities of the Project from its initiation to its implementation Review the initial release of the Quality Management Plan of the Project (main contractors), including in particular KPI definition, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) initial release, Non-Conformity (NC) Management organization Review of the Quality Management Plan for the Project Ensure an appropriate follow-up of notifications for Inspections (Hold Points, Witness Points) Actively participate in project mock-up, quality inspection and site acceptance Coordinate the work of any Quality Inspectors duly mandated by the construction Team in a dedicated field of expertise Monitor the overall NC process, including an appropriate follow-up of any NC issued by the EPC Contractor, with the review of the associated implementation of the corrective action and the evaluation of the efficiency of the proposed actions Ensure the proper implementation of Root Cause Analyses (RCA) of deviations and participate in analysis meetings when necessary Organize regular follow up meeting with the EPC Contractor KPI, NC (and RCA), ITP follow up Actively contributes to the punch list release and review, and in particular the follow up of the NC up to closure Actively contribute to the lesson learned process Carry out actions that can promote continuous improvement in the performance of the EPC Contractor Prepare Quality management reports and presentations as requested for the benefit of the Construction Director and/or Sponsors Act as deputy Construction Director, and:Provide regular updates on his/her perimeter to the Construction Director Be responsible for monitoring, on day-to-day basis, all on-site work activities (electrical, mechanical, civil, communications, HSE, QA/QC, etc.). Be responsible for fostering a proactive Health and Safety culture within the project organizations as well with the main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers;Motivate and supervise the construction team and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned Work.develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations on regular basis.<br>The position contributes to feeding EDF group with major quality related learning and will provide direct benefit to the community of international quality managers<br>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<br>The successful candidateshould have a Master’s degree in Engineering, quality management or equivalent and minimum 10 years of experience in quality management for Energy projects and ideally on-shore wind projects in construction. A provensuccessful previous experience in MENA is a must<br>COMPETENCIES:<br>Project Quality Management: ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 19011 (guidelines for auditing Management System) and ISO 10005 (guidelines for Project Quality Management plan) or equivalent Technical Management: understands common fields of engineering (civil, electrical) with strong knowledge and understanding of Solar and Storage technologies and in general the renewables Sector. Contract Management: understands interactions between contract and quality contract requirements Substantial experience in power plants and in particular in construction project management of renewable projects Experience in management of multi split construction contracts is a plus<br>HARD SKILLS:<br>Strong knowledge of Quality Management methodologies Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point…) and Project documentation system (i.e. Quality registers/records: Audits, NC register, RCA register) Fluency in English is required. Research availability of gender diverse talent pools for select roles to advise & consult with recruiters & hiring managers to develop a strategy to engage and a Partner with managers to understand their specific functional staffing needs and implement solutions to meet these needs, following standard processes and ensuring alignment with wider WFP policies. Articulate WFP s employee value proposition to enhance visibility and reputation in key sourcing channels by conducting impactful and targeted employer branding activities. Build partnerships, develop and maintain strong relationships that include outreach to schools, institutions of higher learning, target diversity organizations, professional associations and other recruiting sources to ensure sourcing produces a strong talent pipeline. Contribute to preparation of a regular, accurate report (i.e., a dynamic dashboard) on the talent acquisition activities that enable informed decision-making and consistent information for stakeholders.
