<p>We are seeking a Learning & Capability Development Specialist to deliver engaging and impactful learner experiences that support functional capability growth across centre teams. This role focuses on facilitating learning interventions, supporting onboarding and capability development, localising and enhancing learning content, and partnering with business stakeholders to improve employee performance and learning effectiveness. The successful candidate will combine training delivery expertise, learning consultancy skills, and digital learning approaches to create meaningful development outcomes.</p>
<h4>What you'll do</h4>
<ul>
<li>Deliver high-impact learning experiences through classroom training, virtual facilitation, coaching, and other appropriate learning methods.</li>
<li>Drive learner engagement and achievement of learning objectives using effective delivery techniques and development approaches.</li>
<li>Act as a learning and development consultant, promoting the effective utilisation of Vodafone learning platforms.</li>
<li>Localise learning content and review existing learning solutions to identify opportunities for enhancement and alternative delivery methods.</li>

<p><strong>Cost control & revenue growth:</strong></p>

<li>Develop and implement strategies to control beverage costs while maintaining product quality and guest satisfaction.</li>
<li>Monitor beverage sales and analyze trends to identify opportunities for increasing revenue through upselling, promotions, and efficient operations.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the culinary team and F&B operations manager and director of food & beverage to establish beverage pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable, while ensuring alignment with brand positioning.</li>

<p><strong>Guest experience & satisfaction:</strong></p>

<li>Ensure that all beverage service meets or exceeds the standards of quality, service, and presentation.</li>
<li>Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring swift resolution to maximize guest satisfaction.</li>
<li>Proactively engage with guests, obtaining feedback on beverage offerings and making recommendations to enhance their experience.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Health & safety compliance:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure that all beverage operations comply with health and safety regulations, including safe alcohol service practices.</li>
<li>Oversee the implementation and adherence to hygiene and safety procedures across all beverage areas.</li>
<li>Conduct regular training with staff on safety practices, including alcohol service laws, fire safety, and safe handling of equipment.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Staff scheduling & budgeting:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop staff schedules for beverage outlets, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and minimizing labor costs during slower periods.</li>
<li>Work with senior management to develop and manage the beverage department's budget, ensuring that all costs are in line with financial goals.</li>
<li>Monitor staffing levels and adjust as necessary based on business needs and guest demand.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Reporting & documentation:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on beverage sales, inventory levels, team performance, and guest feedback.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of all beverage-related transactions, including orders, receipts, and financial documentation.</li>
<li>Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Collaboration with other departments:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with the food & beverage team, kitchen staff, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.</li>
<li>Collaborate with marketing and events teams to develop beverage-related promotions, themed nights, and special events that enhance guest experience and increase sales.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Promotions & events:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Organize and manage beverage-focused promotions, events, and seasonal offerings to attract guests and drive sales.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the events team to ensure that beverage offerings meet the needs and expectations of large-scale functions, banquets, or special events.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Additional responsibilities:</strong></p>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>
<p><strong>Experience/certificates/education</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role in beverage management, preferably in a high-end restaurant or a luxury hospitality environment. Experience in managing beverage operations, menu development, cost control, and staff leadership. Strong background in beverage sales, with experience in maximizing revenue and controlling costs.</li>
<li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field. Certification in beverage management, mixology, or sommelier training is a plus.</li>
