Position Summary Shinebed is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our factory team in Egypt.<br>This position will be responsible for monitoring and improving product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process, from incoming raw materials and in-process production to final inspection and shipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on quality experience in home textiles, bedding, soft goods, garments, or a related manufacturing environment.<br>The QA Engineer will work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that all products meet Bedshe’s quality standards, customer specifications, and export requirements.<br>Key Responsibilities Monitor product quality throughout the full manufacturing process, including incoming materials, cutting, sewing, filling, assembly, packaging, and finished goods. Conduct incoming, in-process, pre-final, and final inspections based on company standards and customer requirements. Inspect fabrics, stitching, workmanship, dimensions, weight, color, labeling, packaging, and overall product appearance. Ensure finished products comply with approved samples, product specifications, packaging requirements, and AQL standards. Identify quality issues and production defects, conduct root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects. Monitor production lines and provide immediate feedback when quality concerns are identified. Analyze defect trends, inspection results, and quality data to recommend process improvements. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, SOPs, work instructions, and quality control standards. Support new product development, pilot production, and first production inspections. Follow up on customer complaints, quality claims, and corrective action plans. Support factory audits, customer audits, and quality management system assessments. Train production employees and inspectors on quality standards, inspection methods, and defect prevention. Ensure products meet applicable company, customer, and export compliance requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, waste, and customer complaints.<br>Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. At least 3 years of quality assurance or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in home textiles, bedding, garments, soft goods, furniture, mattresses, or consumer products is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality control processes and inspection procedures. Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis. Experience with AQL inspection standards is preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely with factory production teams in a fast-paced environment. Good communication, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Good written and spoken English. Arabic language proficiency is required.<br>Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an export-oriented manufacturing factory. Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. Experience supporting international customers, retailers, or global brands. Internal Auditor certification or quality-related certification is a plus.
