We work with thousands of participants worldwide to capture authentic human conversation, so that AI can better understand and communicate with humanity.</p><h2>About the Role</h2><p>Babel Audio is seeking professional Egyptian Arabic-speaking voice actors for a solo performance project. Your performances will be used to train AI systems to better understand and express human emotion. This is interpretive, character-driven work that requires genuine craft, and we have structured this engagement to reflect that.</p><p>You will receive a script and scene brief, study the emotional context, and deliver a performance that is true to the character and moment. The scenes are specific and emotionally rich. You might perform as:</p><ul><li>A bride, bidding farewell to her family on her wedding night, overwhelmed with emotion (عروس تودّع عائلتها ليلة زفافها، غارقة في مشاعرها)</li><li>A father, holding his newborn child for the first time, overcome with emotion (أب يحمل طفله المولود حديثًا لأول مرة، تغمره العاطفة)</li><li>A shepherd, spotting a wolf in the distance, becoming alert to protect his herd (راعٍ يلمح ذئبًا من بعيد، فيتيقّظ لحماية قطيعه)</li><li>A doctor, with a heavy heart, delivering the news of a patient's passing to their family (طبيب يبلّغ عائلة مريضه نبأ وفاته بقلب مثقل)</li><li>A runner, after years of training, nearing the finish line and filled with emotion (عدّاء يقترب من خط النهاية بعد سنوات من التدريب، تطغى عليه المشاعر)</li></ul><p>Recordings are under one minute. You select which scripts to take on, and you work entirely on your own schedule.</p><h2>Who You Are</h2><ul><li>Native-level fluency in Egyptian Arabic.</li><li>Professional background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, audiobook recording, or similar.</li><li>Able to deliver expressive and engaging vocal performances across a variety of styles and emotions.</li><li>Comfortable interpreting a scene brief and working independently with minimal direction.</li></ul><h2>Compensation</h2><ul><li>$90 USD / recorded hour.</li><li>Additional performance-based incentives may be available.</li></ul><h2>Technical Requirements</h2><ul><li>External microphone; pop filter or windscreen strongly recommended.</li><li>Quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment.</li><li>Stable internet connection capable of supporting smooth audio recordings.</li></ul><h2>Additional Information</h2><p>Rate applies to recorded audio time for this specific project.
