Tasks, Roles & Responsibilities Manage all subordinates (Section Heads & Engineers) in performing their delegated tasks in light of the department strategy. Manage staff, including but not limited to: work assignments, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, etc. Ensure that the performance of various assigned tasks, and the conduct of staff within the section are in accordance with the Procurement Department policies and procedures. Asist in preparing periodic performance reports for the section and provide input into the Procurement's performance report. Review/analyze the possibilities to purchase or rent equipments and materials, research costs and expenditures by the Procurement Department and provide recommendations to improve internal procurement activities and sources. Contribute in assessing supplier performance, supplier evaluation and recommendations. Represent the company in negotiations with sub-contracts/purchase orders and formulating policies with suppliers in light of the department policies and procedures. Report to the Department’s Sr. Manager unresolved problems for recommendations and decisions. Study project’s main contract documents. Review the suggested vendors list for each of the project items. Review sub-contracts, purchase orders and letters of intent. Meet department productivity and quality goals. Scope The Country Product Manager - Ocean Freight is responsible for developing and executing the country’s Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL) product strategy. Ensures competitive pricing, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, strong carrier relationships, and P&L performance. Drives digital adoption, product competitiveness, and customer satisfaction through coordinated action with Sales, Operations, and Regional Product Teams.<br>Responsiblities Product Strategy & Market Positioning Build and execute the national Ocean Product road map aligned with regional/global product teams.
