Role Description The Freight Forwarder role at Midas Furniture is a full-time, on-site position based in Smart Village. The person in this role coordinates and manages the movement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective freight transportation for local and international shipments. Day-to-day tasks include arranging forwarding and export services, preparing and reviewing shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and resolving any transport or logistics issues. The Freight Forwarder collaborates closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize routing, maintain compliance with regulations, and support inventory and delivery schedules. This role also involves delivering responsive customer service, providing shipment updates, and maintaining accurate records to support smooth logistics operations. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation to manage end-to-end shipment planning and execution. Candidates should possess skills in Forwarding and Export to handle international logistics, documentation, and customs-related processes. Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding shipments and delivery status. Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management, preferably within retail or furniture sectors. Ability to interpret shipping documents, contracts, and regulations, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with logistics and shipment tracking systems, and good command of MS Office tools. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to work under deadlines. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring software delivery efficiency, security, and operational excellence.<br><br>As a key member of a cross-functional, multi-domain development team, you will drive GitOps best practices, automation, security, and infrastructure as code (IaC) to support cloud deployments, testing, and secure cloud operations. This role requires a strong background in DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies, security best practices, multi-cloud platforms, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.<br><br><strong>What you will do:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines across GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, GCP Cloud Build, and Jenkins to ensure seamless, secure, and automated software delivery.</li><li>Integrate security at every stage of the CI/CD lifecycle by incorporating static code analysis (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA) tools.</li><li>Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated cloud provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.</li><li>Ensure compliance and security controls using DevSecOps tools, security scanning, access management, and vulnerability remediation in CI/CD workflows.</li><li>Implement GitOps methodologies using tools like ArgoCD or Flux to enforce declarative infrastructure and application deployments.</li><li>Monitor and optimize system performance using observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or GCP Operations Suite.</li><li>Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to ensure high availability and scalability.</li><li>Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments, ensuring high resilience and uptime.</li><li>Enhance cloud security through IAM policies, network security, encryption, and compliance automation.</li><li>Collaborate with software development and testing teams to implement test automation, including unit testing, integration testing, and security testing.</li><li>Lead efforts in cloud security best practices, including secrets management, policy enforcement, and secure authentication.</li><li>Drive innovation in automation, reducing manual processes and improving DevOps efficiency through scripting and orchestration.<br><br></li></ul><strong>The skills you bring:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>6+ years of experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.</li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud environments, designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in AWS and GCP.</li><li>Proficiency in CI/CD tools: GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, GCP Cloud Build, and Jenkins.</li><li>Expertise in DevSecOps methodologies, including integrating security testing, compliance checks, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.</li><li>Hands-on experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.</li><li>Deep understanding of GitOps methodologies, including tools like ArgoCD and Flux.</li><li>Strong networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, DNS, load balancing, and cloud security best practices.</li><li>Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Loki, Prometheus, or GCP Observability.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python.</li><li>Strong knowledge of security tools, such as Snyk, SonarQube, Aqua Security.</li><li>Hands-on experience with cloud security best practices, IAM policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and secrets management.<br><br></li></ul>Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:<br><br><ul><li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (AWS SAAC) certification (preferred).</li><li>GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification (a plus).</li><li>Experience in MLOps workflows and cloud-based Machine Learning model deployment.</li><li>Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures. <br><br></li></ul>Soft Skills & Work Approach:<br><br><ul><li>Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation, security, and performance optimization.</li><li>Ability to work in fast-paced, distributed teams, collaborating across software development, security, and cloud engineering.</li><li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach to DevOps and cloud management.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Why join Ericsson?<br><br></strong>At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
