Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, and fire protection to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in BIM and Revit, be fully knowledgeable of the Saudi Building Code, and be capable of designing mechanical systems from scratch.
This role requires high technical proficiency, the ability to work independently, and effective remote coordination with project teams. Candidates without BIM expertise, Saudi Code knowledge, or design experience will not be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical systems from scratch, ensuring compliance with the Saudi Building Code and project requirements.
- Develop, manage, and update BIM models using Revit, ensuring seamless coordination with other trades.
- Perform HVAC load calculations, pipe and duct sizing, and pressure drop analysis.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution within the BIM environment.
- Select appropriate equipment based on technical specifications and site conditions.
- Review and validate mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and project documentation.
- Collaborate remotely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure system compatibility.
- Maintain and manage project documentation, ensuring models align with BIM execution plans.
- Provide technical support and design modifications as required.
Job Requirements:Mandatory Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design.Expertise in BIM and Revit – lack of BIM experience is not acceptable.In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Building Code – candidates without this knowledge will not be considered.Proven ability to design mechanical systems from scratch – lack of design experience is unacceptable.Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.Preferred Qualifications:Female candidates are strongly preferred.Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia.Certifications in BIM, Revit, or Saudi Building Code compliance.Familiarity with remote collaboration tools like BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
