Role Purpose

•    Overall responsibility for the provision of legal support to all of the Vodafone Egypt businesses (such as Sales, Marketing, Business development, HR, Finance, Supply Chain teams, technology) including regular contact with leaders, managers and business partners both locally and regionally. 
•    Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Company policies.
•    Managing relationships with external legal counsel and other legal service providers engaged by the Company and driving for cost effective means of delivering high quality legal services in volume and supporting the work of the Legal Department in achieving this aim.
•    Working with the Local/Global compliance teams to ensure all local and global procedures are applied.  
•    Ensuring the mitigation of both operational and legal risk.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

•    Handling general legal corporate matters; drafting and responding to the related inquiries and requirements.
•    Conduct research and write memoranda on various areas of corporate, commercial and other laws. 
•    Advanced Contracts, Researches and advising on different related matters
•    Legally qualified with significant experience gained in-house and/or leading law firm.
•    Assist in managing corporate governance matters, including drafting and reviewing corporate policies, bylaws, and resolutions. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

•    Delivery of excellent legal advice and support. 
•    Manage time and ability to work under pressure and interact constructively with stakeholders.
•    Availability to attend meetings and respond in a timely manner to queries and tasks.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

•    Minimum Experience of 5 years as a corporate lawyer
•    Expert knowledge of contract and commercial law, compliance and telecommunications law, regulation and industry
•    Fluency in written and spoken Arabic & English languages.
•    Commercial law, drafting and negotiating experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast-moving industry.
